How long does it take to apply?
We apply all our laminate by hand. It adds 2 working days to your normal one day turnaround time
Will my banner be protected from all types of Graffiti?
The coating will offer protection from most types of Graffiti. The thicker it is applied, the better the protection. There may be some shadowing from permanent markers
How do I remove the Graffiti?
It is critical that you use the recommended remover for our product. They have been formulated to work together. Using any other removers can damage the protective coating.
Where can I buy the Remover?
We sell very convenient remover kits. They are supplied with detailed instructions, gloves, eye protection, scrubbers, brushes and 500ml of the specially formulated organic remover. For best results, graffiti should be removed within 24hrs. These kits are $49.60+GST.

How long until the coating is completely cured?
The coating is completely dry when your banner is finished but achieves full cure after 72hrs.
Does the coating protect the banner from water?
Yes. But no coatings are designed to be constantly wet or have water pooling on them. Never roll the banners up when they are damp asthis will cause the coating to turn milky and can lift from the surface. Coated banners are only designer to be installed on the vertical and should not be installed in very moist environments.
Will it Add 5 years to my banners?
No. The coating is designer to dramatically increase the life of your products by up to double
Do I need any bleed on the banner for laminating?
Yes. We require a minimum of 50mm on all four sides of the banner. This does not need to be printed but is additional to the required finish size. There is an addition 30% premium for all materials received printed edge to edge, finished or trimmed
Do I pay for the whole width of the roll when coating?
No. You pay for the width of the print. If you have a 800mm high banner on 1370mm stock, you only pay for the 800mm x the length.
What finishes does the coating come in?
We offer both Gloss and Mat Coatings. For flat boards and sheets, we recommend only using Mat laminate.
Once the material is coated, is it weldable?
No. The coating acts as a barrier between the materials preventing it from adhering. We are still able to weld the reverse of the materials that are free from laminate.
Are our coatings fine art quality?
Whilst all care is taken to provide the cleanest and best quality coating available, it is designed to provide a protective layer which is viewed at a distance. With the Overcoat Coat laminate, the materials are cleaned twice before coating.
Is there a minimum charge?
We laminate 5 days a week so it does not matter if your banner is small or large. There is no minimum charge.
What ink types can be coated?
We are able to laminate solvent, eco solvent, uv cured and fully cured latex prints.
